Member Brown Bag - Homeowner Stabilization
Current GSN Members received an email invitation with registration details. Contact Jenee Gaynor, Membership Specialist, at [email protected] for registration or membership information.
Grounded Solutions Network is inviting our members to join an informal conversation about opportunities and initiatives to stabilize homeowners facing displacement, especially for Black homeowners and other homeowners of color. We know that many community land trusts and shared equity homeownership programs have been exploring how to meet homeowner needs within and outside of their portfolios, and we hope to facilitate peer learning and exchange on this growing area of work.
Join us to share the successes, barriers, and opportunities you’ve experienced in developing and expanding programs that keep homeowners in their homes. We’ll discuss the common types of destabilizing events, the specific needs of homeowners in your community, and the key elements for a successful program. It will be an opportunity to share what you’re seeing on the ground and learn from each other.
Registration is limited to 35 participants in order to provide an opportunity for conversation. If you cannot attend or see that the live participation tickets are sold out, you can also sign up to receive a brief meeting summary after the event, which will include notes and links.
